Q: Are your products made out of alligator skin or is it faux alligator print?

A: All Accenti belts and accessories are made out of the highest quality American alligator skin and are lined with calfskin. We never use printed or faux leather on our products. We stand by the quality of our products with a money back guarantee.


Q: The skin pattern appears to be different from belt to belt, why?

A: Our belts are made from reptile skins, and because there are no two reptiles alike, each belt has a unique scale pattern. In addition, depending on which part of the reptile skin is used, a belt can have large, rectangular shaped scales (tail) or smaller, rounder scales (belly). Unless made to a specific order, most of our belts have a mixed scale pattern, meaning that we use both belly and tail sections.


Q: Are your belts made from one-piece of skin or from multiple skin pieces?

A: Although in some cases it is possible to have a belt made out of a single skin piece, our standard belts, just like a majority of reptile skin belts on the market, are constructed using 2-3 skin pieces. There are several reasons for that: 1) an average alligator skin measures 3-4 feet in length from neck to tail, and larger belt sizes cannot be accomodated with a single piece cut, 2) many people have a single pattern preference, some like rectangular scale pattern of the tail section, other prefer softer and rounder belly scales; in order to acomodate these preferences, we have to bond several skin strips together into one long strap, 3) reptile skin has natural imperfections, and constructing a belt of of several pieces allows us to use only the most perfect skin sections for your belt. Q: I don't see my belt size, color, cut, etc. Can I order a custom-made belt?

A: Absolutely. Please use the contact form to submit your request, and we will get back to you with a custom quote within a few hours.


Q: I was gifted a buckle/buckle set and I am shopping for an alligator strap. I have not been able to find one that would fit due to an odd size/style/dimensions on the bukle. Can you make a custom strap for me?

A: Absolutely. We carry pre-made straps for a variety of designer buckles and buckle sets such as Tiffany engine turned slide buckle, Hermes "H" buckle, and different types of 4-piece buckle sets. If you are not finding what you are looking for in our online store, please contact us to place a custom order.


Q: How long do custom orders take to complete? I need my belt by Christmas/birthday/aniversary?

A: Most custom orders can be completed in 3-5 business days. We normally receive a fair amount of holiday orders, thus we strongly recommend that you place your order as far in advance as possible so that you could receive it in time for your special event. In addition, please allow 4-7 business days for standard shipping.


RETURN POLICY

You may return standard items in the new and unused condition, in which they were recieved within 14 days (two weeks) of delivery for a full refund. Please note that in the case of custom-made items cannot be returned. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.


SHIPPING

We will only sell and ship our products within the U.S. and Canada. Unfortunately we are unable to sell and ship our products internatinally at this time. Please note that Canadian customers may be required to pay applicable custom duties upon the receipt of the package.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
